Hi there! I'm Mindy and I'm so glad you decided to stop by today! As a natural light photographer I consider myself incredibly blessed to be able to use my love of photography to capture moments in time for my fantastic clients.

As a mama to two young children, my family comes first and as such, I am only scheduling a limited number of sessions each month so please book early to make sure you get on my calendar! All Glammed Up! │ Sacramento Child & Family Photographer

You may remember this beauty from her newborn session and some of my Project 52 posts as well.   I can't believe it but Skye is 6 months old already and such a joy to be around!  We had a great time at the park by their house and she enjoyed glamming it up with some pearls and a pettiskirt.

A wardrobe change and she was back at it - full of smiles!

Each opportunity we gave her for "tummy time" she would give us this joyful "flying" pose.  It wasn't mom's favorite pose but I loved these next three images:

I loved mom's adoring expression in this final one:

It was hard to narrow it down as I have tons more images, but I hope you guys love these like I do!

34/52 Project 52 {Graceful Joy} │ Sacramento Family Photographer

Is a Project 52 supposed to have only one picture posted?  I hope not because I hardly ever have just one and sometimes even throw in a collage!  This week I want to showcase some amazing high school girls I ran into on the beach in Santa Cruz.  It was a dance team and I was happy to capture of few of them just "practicing" while they awaited their turn with the photographer who was shooting them.  Aren't they amazing?

Very similar to the black and white above, but actually a separate shot, can this gal jump or what?!

Wedded Beach Bliss│Sacramento Family Photographer

It has been a few months since their special day, but I don't think I ever posted any of my images from my brother's wedding back in May.  They were married at Zephyr Point in Nevada and provided a lovely buffet at Harrah's for all of their guests.  I don't typically photograph weddings, but for some reason I've never been able to say "no" to my big brother. :)

Wedding dresses are always so lovel and pure.  They fill me with a sense of something magical.

A bride's entrance is usually a highlight for most weddings.  I loved that LeeAnne walked in a hundred yards away, crossing the bare sand alone to meet her husband and enjoy a moment alone (forget the camera and I were there) before joining the friends and family there to share their wedding day.

The day was filled with such joy

Where was this boy's mother?!

Forever the two shall be

Here's Your Chance

You probably won't believe I'm saying this but the holidays are just around the corner!  It may seem too early to be worrying about the gifts, the food, the wrapping, but it's the perfect time to be thinking ahead towards those Christmas cards!

I'm holding one Saturday open in October for the 2010 Fall Mini-Sessions.  These will be short, back-to-back sessions at a single location to be announced.  I expect this one-day event to book quickly so please contact me ASAP with your preferred time slot.

33/52 - Project 52 {Picnic Fun}│ Sacramento Family Photographer

Our church has an annual picnic and baptism at the river and it is a highlight each year for our family to go.  This week's Project 52 showcases a few of my favorite images from that day:

Fantastic Four │ Sacramento Family & Childrens Photographer

Occasionally in life things get put off, you have the best of intentions but the busy-ness of life creeps in and before you know it you realize that "important thing" you wanted to do still has not been done.  In this case, it has been FOUR years since this family of four has had a family photo done and we've been talking about taking the photos for almost a year!

Thankfully the procrastination is over and we enjoyed a fun evening snapping away and capturing the fun that makes up the V Family.  These are special friends of our family and I'm so thankful to have spent this time with them and hope they enjoy their sneak peak!

Thank you V Family for letting me capture you - I'll have your gallery up soon!

Samson (Part 3)

You met Samson, you met his family, did you think I forgot my own kids?  Despite them not always being the most cooperative when it comes to taking photos, here are a few of my little ones that I love and that shows their personalities...

I love the way she is looking at him here...

A MIRACLE!  He's looking AND smiling at the camera!

Oh brother!  Look at this boy's silliness!

Bunny ears!

I love this next one of my girl, but can't decide if I prefer the color or black & white?  What is YOUR vote?

This mane of hers is WILD!

Goofy brother + adoring little sister = bliss!

Hope you have enjoyed a little glimpse into the heart!
