The Way I View...Summertime│Sacramento Children's Photographer

Another month down and summer is almost to a close!  I can't believe how jam packed and fun-filled our summer has been, truly one of the best summers ever I think.  For this month our theme was "Summertime" and the way I view summertime can be summed up in just one word: ADVENTURE!

Summer gives us the opportunity to find, create and enjoy adventure with every turn of our head.  Whether it be forts with blankets and chairs, a mud pit in the backyard, or catching bugs... the adventure and joy is limited only by our imagination.  This is especially true when at the beach.

Don't forget to click over and see how Celeste views "Summertime".

Oh and summertime is most definitely Old Navy patriotic shirt time!

The Way I View...Friendship│Sacramento Children's Photographer

My year-long photography project with other Clickinmoms photographers has been so inspiring each month.  I've loved seeing the different perspectives each photographer takes with the theme and the beauty they create in their images.  This month's theme is "Friendship" and I loved these images for exemplifying Springtime friendship fun.  If you adore your sister you won't want to miss Laura Ackerson's "Friendship" post HERE!

The R Family │Sacramento Family Photographer

Another little catch-up post to share this fun-loving family with you!  Janet and Bill sure made a couple of cute and energetic little kiddos.  The best part was watching how well they got along with one another and truly seemed to enjoy being with each other.  Thank you R family for a fun session and for being flexible with the time so we could sneak it in before the rain storm hit!

These two siblings were so sweet to watch!

I always like to get some special images of just mom and dad...

So glad they wanted to bring their ENTIRE family...including their pup!

A is for Adorable!│Sacramento Family Photographer

I am truly enjoying this opportunity to meet so many lovely families and adorable children as I photograph them this holiday season!  The {A Family} contacted me about coming to their home and capturing them in their favorite neighborhood park and we had a fantastic time together as we documented their family of three and the sweet love they have for one another.

The adorable {A Family} with one of my favorite processing styles.

Little Mr. N isn't walking quite yet so he had a blast crawling through the leaves and playing with my crate.

Happy Birthday to this adorable boy who just turned 1 this weekend!

Thank you {A Family} for the chance to meet you and create these lasting memories for you!

All Glammed Up! │ Sacramento Child & Family Photographer

You may remember this beauty from her newborn session and some of my Project 52 posts as well.   I can't believe it but Skye is 6 months old already and such a joy to be around!  We had a great time at the park by their house and she enjoyed glamming it up with some pearls and a pettiskirt.

A wardrobe change and she was back at it - full of smiles!

Each opportunity we gave her for "tummy time" she would give us this joyful "flying" pose.  It wasn't mom's favorite pose but I loved these next three images:

Sunset beauty:

I loved mom's adoring expression in this final one:

It was hard to narrow it down as I have tons more images, but I hope you guys love these like I do!
