Who doesn't love a sweet little newborn baby?  Even more, who doesn't love an incredibly easy-going, happy, content and lovely little baby girl?  I had been waiting a long time to photograph this little beauty and loved photographing her mama for her maternity session.  Oh Lizzie Lou - I completely adore you!

Expecting A Princess│Sacramento Maternity Photographer

Children are a gift, no matter their gender, but after having and loving her two boys this mama is ready for a little princess!  Meet my dear (and beautiful) friend Alicia, whose grace, joy and enthusiasm for life radiates to all who know her.  We had a great time planning out her maternity session which consisted of 3 different locations, so be prepared for a plethora of images of this gorgeous mama-to-be!

What to Wear│ Spring 2011

Despite the dreary, rainy weather we're having this week, Spring is here and Spring sessions can be so much fun!  I love how green everything is, so fresh and hopeful, full of new life.  Most people think bold colors are a must for photography sessions, but against the bold, fresh green grasses this gray/white/yellow palette would be perfection as it pops and draws all the attention to the subjects in a very subtle way.  Always a fan of yellow (it just makes me happy), I love the yellow headband paired with a simple white top and chinos.  And that yellow ruffle top?  Ahhh....I want!
